To win, the Nazis needed to be... Well, not Nazis.
In the East, the German policy of Lebensraum required to exterminate the Soviet population, not "ally" with it. So, the horrified Soviet people hated the Germans far more than the Commies, and with good reason. Most of the huge number of Soviet deaths, were civilians. Surrender was worse than fighting when facing Nazi Ethnic Cleansing.
And Japan and Germany were the worst allies, ever: When the Red Army was pounding the Japanese in the summer of 1939, the Germans went to Moscow to sign a non aggression pact with Stalin in person.... When the Germans were about to start Barbarossa in 1941, the Japanese signed their own peace pact with the Soviets. LoL.
It's simple.
To win, the Nazis needed to be... well, not Nazis.
