The most notorious thing about this case is that the hikers took a lot of pictures of their final hike. Good looking guys and girls enjoying their trip. We can see their real final days (and perhaps, hours)... And also we can see how they were found. A haunting thing.

@winterleia9027 ...Agree.... After some reading years ago, my personal theory is a classified weapons test accident, in a supposedly inhabited place. It provoked a panic run and later hypothermia to the terrorized campers, who were too scared to go back to their tent. The weapons might have caused some of the injuries and also avalanches. But well, I'm no weapons expert.

@shepardsghost6741 ...Yes. Sounds very reasonable to me --if they could notice the weapons exploding above them were nuclear or radioactive. The place was not obliterated... What kind of weapons were tested? Primitive EMPs? Maybe! As said, I'm no expert, but makes sense to me.
