I worked in Germany back in the 60s the living standard and quality of life was and is still far ahead of that of the UK, Italy and few other countries - - education as the video shows inspire achievements, aspirations,--the less academic able are not the lovable looser like in the UK but are encouraged in pursuing in what serve them best - - in the meantime just look at the state of British society today.

A country like Italy is unique for 2 reasons : it has shaped the history of Europe ( and many parts of the world) for millenia, ( and continue to do so to these days) on any field one bother to mention, it has given the world the banking system, the Latin alphabet, serious innovative geniuses, thinkers, philosophers adventurers, artists, poets, individuals at the very front in medicine, chemistry, phisyc, and numerous discoveries to follow but... Geniuses don't represent the population and that's the problem in Italy --the Italians are anarchists why as an example when in Canada I see cars slowing down meters before and stopping at the zebra crossing ? - - Italians are taught the same rules of conduct but bar few exceptions you're lucky to escape with your life in that same situation
