@ Judging by the Yellow Cake that the Yakuza recently tried to sell to Iran, and knowing how loyal the Yakuza are to the Emperor and Nippon Kaigi, I wouldn't be so sure...

@ They flew too close to the sun. They wanted the benefits of being a superpower with none of the responsibilities therewith. They sold Soft Power without also providing Soft Empowerment. Hubris.

@ I can tell you've never even been to Japan. They didn't even have working sewage systems until the US Army Corps of Engineers built them. There's still a US Army symbol on all the manholes in Tokyo. The US also gave Japan $25 Billion adjusted for inflation after the war, and they flushed it down the toilet. All of Japan's cars, computers, and electronics were invented by the US. Japan invented nothing and even then, they abandoned their manufacturing in favor of games and cartoons. The US gave Japan everything they needed to succeed.

@ I don't doubt that, but they can't innovate. China's technology is advanced too. Immigrants, like Nikola Tesla and Steve Jobs, have contributed the most to America's innovation, along with a strong military. Japan has none of these things.
