Fat Acceptance is not a Western mindset. There has been fat acceptance in Japan long before Europeans even knew about Japan. Just look at sumo or all the fat oiran who dominated Kabukicho.

@wifebeater69 just because someone hurt you doesn't mean you have to hurt others. Gain the inner strength to be kind.

What does "obesity" mean? I doubt you know because you're using that term out of its intended medical context. Calling these girls obese is like saying that all the other idol groups are anorexic.

@kineticenergy2283 your kindness and spiritual beauty is so refreshing.

I love a fat chick with stretch marks. They're so soft! <3 <3 <3 But I'm tall and muscular and I sometimes get stretchmarks when I workout so it's nothin to trip over.

@wifebeater69 I'm sure if you were truly committed to bringing out the very best within yourself, you wouldn't say such things.

@wifebeater69 So you're admitting that you didn't run any of the tests necessary to diagnose these women with obesity? Ergo, you're admitting that you don't know if these women are obese?

anythingnew actually, feminism hasn't really taken over Japan yet. Abe's trying to change that with certain initiatives but that has little to do with this idol group. As for backstabbing women, look up Chisako Kakehi, Kanae Kajima, and Miyuki Ueta.

@wifebeater69 Do you know what "obese" means? Your using the term outside of it's original medical definition. What tests did you run on these women to determine that they're all obese? What blood serum levels have you identified which signal a link between their body fat percentage and insulin resistance? Do you even have the medical education and license necessary to diagnose obesity?

@mincloudmincloud Don't take this quack seriously. wifebeater69 obviously isn't a bariatric doctor and has no clue what they're talking about. This is just unkindness, plain and simple.

Every single one of these young ladies is gorgeous. I've been following them for quite some time.

There's a difference between fat and overweight. Your overweight if your size causes medical issues, which there's doesn't. That's like saying all thin people are underweight.
2
Saying that Japanese people are all perverts is like saying that all African-Americans are thugs. You have to look at the European banks that are financing Japan's kinky anime and brothels. Follow the money.

I would be in but I'm a tall, lanky/muscular guy lolz

anythingnew That's "de jour" feminism. There's a difference between de jour and de facto. Something may be legally instituted without actually being practiced, as there are private institutions that may supersede the state. Japanese Women may legally have the right to vote, work, travel, etc. but the rights they have on paper are different from the "unwritten rules" of society. If a company is having a meeting, women pour the tea for the men. If a company is going out for drinks, women pour the sake for the men. If a woman wants to start a family, she has to quite her job or she'll be pressured to quit. Companies largely avoid hiring women for this very reason. And many Japanese colleges set higher standards for women's entrance criteria as opposed to men's. You see the difference between the "de jour feminism" you're talking about and the "de jour patriarchy" I'm talking about? I'm no feminist but I can't ignore those subtle differences.

anythingnew They do. Look at America for example. In the US, women can go to college and get educated. Most US college students are women. But this is just a sexist trap disguised as equality. European American women go to college thinking that they're bettering themselves but they graduate only to be weighed down with debt that they can never pay off. It's the illusion of a middle class and the illusion of feminism. Again, de jour vs de facto. Look at the practices, not the legislature.

@profile1172 you haven't typed one rational, unbiased, truthful comment yet. Have you ever stopped to think attractiveness is based on personal preference? And BTW, high-ranking oiran did in fact take money directly from their patrons. The "owners" which you speak of were themselves high-ranking oiran.
