@blintzkreig1638 Yeah "better" isn't the word I'd use but both are pretty bad.

@popajoekiller As a descendent of American slaves and sharecroppers who picked cotton, I don't think it's much worse. My grandma still has the scars on her hands from when she picked cotton as a little girl. Mixed fabrics are just as bad since they contribute to sweatshop slavery, ecological destruction, cancer, the destruction of Africa's fabric industry, poverty, and low testosterone levels in men. So, I respectfully disagree but I do see why you would say that.

@popajoekiller What's your standard of morality? What philosophy do you get your moral principles from?

@popajoekiller Different humans have different morality though. For example, Armin Meiwes and Detlev Guenzel thought they were being moral by only eating consenting adults. Were they practicing "basic human morality" too?

@popajoekiller Says who? Who says that cannibalism is bad? There's an entire vore community who make that their orientation/identity. Are they using "basic human morality" too? Once you make an ethical claim, you need to cite the ethical system which originated that claim. Otherwise, your claim is presupposed and subjective. For example, slavery is as bad as synthetic fabrics because the Bible dans them both. The bible also bans cannibalism. In Judeochristian ethics, breaking one law, without the grace of Christ, is the same as breaking them all. Just something to think about...

@popajoekiller The vore community is not one tribe. It's an entire internet phenomenon. But these are just examples. My main idea is that we believe things and take them for granted as "basic human morality" without actually thinking where they came from. A lot of what we think is "basic" is actually an idea that Moses or Jesus originally invented. But at least we both agree on slavery so that's good.
