There were Africans ruling Rome and Europeans ruling Egypt at certain points in history. Ptolemy and Alexander III of Macedon were among the many Europeans who helped build Egypt.

  19. Your problem is both moral and financial. Your first mistake was moving in with your girlfriend. You two need to live separately and repent of your fornication until you get married. Shacking up always brings financial and spiritual suffering. Your second mistake was living off of each other and getting caught in the Two-Income Trap. Elizabeth Warren wrote a whole book about that. It's financial suicide whether your married or living in sin like you and your girlfriend are. I made these two same mistakes when I was your age. I'm 29 now and I work while my girlfriend is in school in Canada. This is what you need to do: 1. Meet with your girl and lead her in prayer, asking God for forgiveness. Follow the Lord's prayer as taught by Jesus. 2. Find two separate apartments or live with relatives until you two can get married. 3. Make preparations for marriage and don't waste money on a big wedding. For personal experience, this is what helped me out of the same situation you're going through. God bless you. 🙏🏿✝🕊
