You've never lived in Nagoya then. The streets are clean, but you go by the train tracks, there's liter everywhere. The bridges are rusting away from lack of maintenance and the malls looks like ghost towns. Women of the night line the streets, many of them underage Yakuza girls. What Japan lacks in street liter and addicts, it makes up for in urban decay and human trafficking.

@missplainjane3905 Other places are nice, especially places catered to tourists. I never saw any liter in Nara, Kyoto, or Tokyo.

@missplainjane3905 I adapt to different cultures easily in a short time. I wasn't even in Montreal for two weeks and I became fluent in French. I don't need very much time.

@Cha4k Yamato Japanese culture doesn't come from Japan though. Every aspect of their culture comes from India, China, and Korea. They wiped out the native Ainu and Ryukyu cultures and replaced it with Chinese Ramen, Korean Shinto, and Indian Buddhism.

@missplainjane3905 Yes, if you're a Malaysian, you should definitely study in Japan. Work there and live there too. I think Southeast Asians are the best fit for Japan because of the cultural similarity. Even if you're a Muslim, you'll do well. I had a Malaysian and an Indonesian classmate and they were the top of the Japanese class. I would definitely revisit again.

@hazanaimon6458 You ask many unrelated and out of context questions so let's address the first. You asked, "how can Jesus die for my sins?" It's the same way that animals die for your hunger and plants die for your medicine. In order for you to live, something has to die. This is a law of nature. Animals and plants die for your earthly life, but Jesus died for your eternal life. Comprehend?

Now you ask "Is it not the case that an innocent man being tortured and beaten to death, so he can die for the sins of others, is the quintessential example of what injustice is?" This is a Moving the Goalposts Fallacy. One question asks "how" but the other questions justification. Let's focus on your initial question: The fact that everything dies regardless just proves my point. Anything that dies feeds the life of something else. You just proved that sacrifice is a part of the "circle of life".

My country has a higher national GDP, higher per capita GDP, higher PPP, higher HDI, higher fertility rate, higher number of Nobel Prize Winners, higher number of new patents, higher number of inventors, higher number of new tech startups, and a stronger military than Japan. Japan has a higher life expectancy though but also a higher rate of self-deletion.

@missplainjane3905 Oh yeah, Iga Province I mean, not prefecture. I really wasn't there long, like not even a day. Self-deletion in the sense that Japanese people take their own lives at a higher rate than people in my country. I enjoyed living there but when did I say 12 years?

@missplainjane3905 I wouldn't say I'm an expert. I haven't taken the JLPT in years but if I did, I'll likely place between N5 or N4 since it's been so long. I was placed in N3 when I was a student at Nanzan University but that was long ago.

@missplainjane3905 I studied in both Japan and my country. We have a military alliance with Japan so learning Japanese will help in the future development of my army career. Officers are more likely to get promoted and get Special Forces opportunities if they're a polyglot.
