  1. Marwan Bishara thinks this past 60 years has been a fight against nations. It isn’t. It’s a fight against ideologies. It’s a constant tug of war between liberty and tyranny going all the way back to the Crusades. Judeochristian kingdoms have evolved into secular democracies while Islamic nations have remained tyrannical. The West is an exemplar of religious freedom while the Umma remains bogged down with the apostasy and idolatry laws of Sharia. The snake of the Umma keeps growing heads and the West keeps cutting them off.
