  1. The Black Belt and the Mexican-American Southwest should be their own cultural regions I think. They’re so culturally distinct from the Southeast and Southwest surrounding them. They’re like mirror images of each on the map.

  2.  @JB-xl2jc  "AAVE" is a myth. Southern whites, rural whites, and Appalachians speak slang too. Whites from poor parts of the Midwest like Detroit speak slang too. That's one cultural commonality I'd say.

  6.  @ernestguzman4962  Interesting. I thought lowrider culture originated in America. Californian African Americans especially have a long history in lowriders going back to the 70s. But I do see what you mean with Texan Chicanos. I listen to Selena Quintanilla often and she was very pro-life and traditional when she was alive.
