@DMTEntity88 Psychedelics may improve connectivity between mirror neurons and heal some of the neurological degradation caused by psychological trauma. But unfortunately, that only addresses those issues along with counseling and psychotherapy. Furthermore, psychedelics don't magically fill a person with moral integrity. Evil is an immaterial force and it can't be cured by material substances. All the LSD and Safrole in the world isn't as effective of a moral guide as Jesus' commandments.

@djyownder109 I used to believe that too. Human Psychology is complex but it's not sufficient enough to solve the problem of evil. Different studies attribute sociopathy to genes like Monoamise Oxidase-A or neurological degradation between brain structures like the Prefrontal Cortex and the Amygdala. But even these explanations are insufficient. We don't wrestle against cells, tissues, and organs. We wrestle against spiritual forces of an ancient, metaphysical origin. The only way to defend ourselves and our loved ones against these metaphysical forces which influence us biologically is to obey God's commandments. Jesus' showed us how we should behave in order to build an immunity to these forces. We must follow his example. The cure to all of humanity's ills has already been found but we, with our modern knowledge and technologically-induced sense of superiority, think we can reinvent the wheel, so to speak. It seems illogical to us but Jesus really is the way.

@rickyrumballs6644 Why certainly: time, space, and matter exist. Since they exist, they have to have had a creator because all things have a creator. This creator has to be outside of time, space, and matter in order to create it. A force powerful enough to create time, space, and matter would have to be timeless, without mass, and immaterial, meaning it would have to be metaphysical. Since only a metaphysical force can create physical reality, we can logically conclude that this metaphysical force is not elemental like an atom or organic like a human. It has to be beyond human, superior to a human. Anything that is superior to a human and is outside of three-dimensional reality can reasonably be labelled a "god". So the existence of 3-dimensional reality proves the existence of God in the same way that the existence of an apple proves the existence of an apple tree.

@Aguantis Some people think that harming children is the right thing. We need God's objective moral authority to make a clear, objective distinction between good and evil. Anything else is just personal, whimsical opinion.

@Aguantis You're misinterpreting the verses. Those verses refer to a very specific herding tool known as a "rod of correction". The KJV uses the term "smite" to refer to striking someone with excessive force. It never commands parents to smite their children with a rod. According to the Books of Jeremiah and Matthew, those who harm children suffer an eternal fate worse than death. So like I said, you cannot be objectively moral without God.
