  2. There is literally several movies and series of Marvel anime in Japan. Marvel is definitely a part of anime, even if it's not Japanese.

  3.  @yulee3266  I was shopping at a movie store in Nagoya one time. I went to a section that was labeled "アニメ” (anime) and saw a bunch of American Disney cartoons. I was also watching an American Disney cartoon called Atlantis with two of my Japanese students and they called it "anime". So based on the original French definition of anime (animation), the entire MCU is most definitely, as a whole, anime. It doesn't have to be a Japanese cartoon in order to be anime. Same goes for manga.
