Do not forget the fastest growing section of northern Irish society, those without any particular preference nationalist or unionist, the young rejecting tradition, atheists, other religions especially recent migrants from outside the British isles, these people are more interested in their quality of lifestyle rather than ideology and these are the people who will decide elections and referendums

@Joanna-il2ur Except the British didn't (despite their best efforts) manage to exterminate all the original owners, in fact they're still breeding like rabbits and are even back in power so I think your comparison is erroneous.
