When the numbers are low you know the video will be filled with lots of great information. It's funny how some of the most informative videos are the ones that nobody watched.

Me caveman too! Caveman can defeat zucked-phones with big rock. SMASH SMASH! SMAASHH!

I think I need to figure out a way to get my grandma to watch this. I can't seem to convey this information to her without her feeling like I'm scolding her or trying to make her feel stupid. It's just that her Zuckbook seems to be the biggest leak of information when it comes to my internet privacy; photos of me with location metadata that end up getting tagged from Christmas, Thanksgiving and other family functions where pictures may be taken and shared on social media.

Tell the wrong person and they might try to put you in a mental institution!
35
OMG! That is so awesome Rob! You're fighting the good fight, I really hope the awareness spreads. Congratulations on 20k subs!
29
Even if apple didn't or doesn't sell your data they will allow 5,400+ trackers on various apps sell your data to their hearts content so what good is there really in this supposed policy from a privacy standpoint?
22
It seems that a vast majority of people are unaware of the dangers of discord. I'd love to see you get into the pros and cons so i can share it with employers that seem to think it's private and a good platform for collaboration...

FREEDOM!!
19
Zuck; the biggist purp of them all. A constant practitioner of data grape without the g. I tell people about this all the time and they look at me like I'm crazy.
18
What if local shops don't carry what you need? Some of us would have to drive over 10 hours round trip just to go shopping.
18
You can easily fix any electronic device with a hammer. Try it out man!
15
Looks like they're always trying to take things to the next level! I'm glad you're helping us stay on our toes in these cat and mouse games.
15
I think Facebook is the most blatant offender when it comes to robbing people of their internet privacy.
14
I've been working on a state of the art privacy system. It's leagues ahead of everything else. It's called 'no cell phone'.
14
I'd give up all my apps if i could get Apple and Google off my back for a day.
13
How do you know they're really turned off though?
13
This sounds amazing because at the moment with my non smart phone I feel like I'm just one step up from carrying an actual brick around with me.
12
The average person is extremely dumb, so dumb in fact that they think they are smart if they listen to authorities.
11
I think that robot must have seen that onion and totally thought it was something else. Did they also demonetize the squash videos?
11
OMG I feel so free now, amazing how just 1 strip of velcro changes everything in this external HD + Laptop set-up!
11
"From the phone app tap More > Call Settings > Call Rejection. Next, tap 'Auto reject list' and then toggle the 'Unknown' option to the on position and all calls from unknown numbers will be blocked."
11
My trusty hammer can fix the privacy issues of any device...
11
@robbraxmantech I wonder if google sees 5g and red lights start flashing Conspiracy Alert! CONSPIRACY ~REEEE!~
10
I don't F with 2FA. I'd rather keep my balls, I mean contact lists and numbers. Here's a great life hack; only communicate with family and friends in person or by hand written letters delivered by carrier pigeons.
10
Forget country; you don't even control your own gadgets anymore.
10
Bruh, I'm with you and I get what you're saying but honestly at the same time you should look into getting some talk therapy because these kinds of events can be really traumatic to the point where you could be left with mental health issues; ptsd, growing paranoia, and stress triggering a psychotic break from reality. Eventually these symptoms could get so bad that you end up trying to take the law into your own hands and getting arrested.
9
I think I just found yet another reason to stay away from the Doctors.
9
The standing 6 feet apart thing with social distancing also seems like it could also help train the A.I. better.
9
Burn the mesh networks to the ground!
9
Now this is a spooky video for the Halloween season! Keep them coming Rob; this is probably the scariest video I've seen all year. This content makes the Texas Chainsaw Massacre look like Child's Play!
9
Mac has one called little snitch.
9
I tried to remove the wifi chip on an iPhone; I managed to melt it enough that the wifi no longer works but the problem is that it left the wifi greyed out & it's still sending out probes with my mac address and doing wifi triangulation on me even though I've partially broken the wifi chip...

I think the most absolute solution might involve having your packages sent to an accomplice, p.o. box., or your second house as well as performing some of the operation as an LLC to allow purchases with an alias.
8
Pimp My Phone: "Yo dog, we heard you like devices that spy on you so we put a spy device inside your spy device so it can spy on you while your device is getting spied on."
8
Do not update your phones, this is noob level stuff for hackers.... All updates ever do is screw up the wonderful zero day exploits you could have otherwise had loads of fun with. It's been a cat and mouse game for as long as I can remember.
8
So Apple is basically a Grapefruit without the G?
8
I love how these huge companies CLIMB THE CORPORATE LADDER then proceed to KICK THE LADDER OVER so nobody else can even attempt to climb that ladder and compete with them.
8
If you have location off but turn the wifi on will it still triangulate you?
7
@cloudsculptor1 I think it's part of the 'facial recognition' unlock feature. Super sketchy in my opinion. Apple is now holding peoples photos and icloud data hostage to try and force people to update to contact tracing versions of the IOS. They are bloody criminals I tells yah! Criminals!
7
Hey Rob, How do you feel about the 100,000 new Electric Amazon Delivery Trucks complete with 360 Cameras. If ring is any indicator I'd guess that their creating a mobile surveillance state and planning on sharing all Delivery Truck 360 cams with law enforcement...
7
I used to be an NPC; then I took an arrow to the knee!
7
The modern tech experience is nearly the same as living with or near someone with schizophrenia who thinks you're part of a government plot to kill them or find out what they ate for breakfast 3 weeks ago so they keep tabs on what you're doing 24/7 rather than sleep like a real person.
7
Only the big-brained will survive when the robots take over!
7
Can't wait to try out one of these new callphone hitters! This will hopefully trigger a new paradigm shift in the market!
7
I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have a chance against the public when it becomes aware and has an uprising. They'd burn to the ground faster than a Wendy's Restaurant during a riot. I guess that's life in the big city!
7
@deusrx9671 Well if we bring that to it's logical conclusion for example if they have nothing to say; maybe we should get rid of the 1st amendment, no more free speech. If they have nothing to hide maybe we should get rid of the 4th amendment. If you don't drink alcohol maybe we should just bring back prohibition. It's a slippery slope.
7
Preach! As scary as all this sounds; it's probably better to be aware of danger than to be technologically blindsided by it.
7
Same deal with big letter agencies...
7
When it comes to updates; I'd rather take my chances with the hackers and compatibility issues than accept the new contact tracing and increased level of surveillance unlocked by the system updates.

Somehow that book has to wait an extra 24 years to become public domain in USA. Everywhere else in the world it hit public domain in 2020...
