How do you know they're really turned off though?

Any disinformation you can do is way better than none at all, half the battle is becoming aware of it. It's not as hard as it sounds.

It's all about Identity even without encryption the data and meta data are useless if they can't attach it to an identity.

@Anne Honymous The reason gmail is better that protonmail is because with gmail to gmail transmissions only the big G will be spying on you verses everyone and their cousin using other public services. It's possible that proton mail is a honey trap and that at the very least it puts you on a list of people who have marked themselves as possibly having something to hide. It's a bit better to use your own private email server communicating only with people who you've issued emails from your domain to with the same @name so it doesn't have to jump from server to server. Thunderbird is the only email client Rob's tested so far that doesn't open the emails and beacon attack up for you in the background.

There seems to be no best browser, the solution may be a little technique Rob invented called browser isolation and the use of virtual machines to add a buffer between the outside world and your hardware..

Two words: meta data

I think it has to do with 1 to 1 streams being encrypted but the fast that 1 to many and many to many video feeds are not encrypted.

I think maybe you need to use your own domain and edit the details in the app to point to your server instead of rob's?

Damn that's creepy but somewhat expected from Zuck the devil himself.

You can get a security consult with Rob from the online store, there's a link to the store at rob.brax.me

@jgregoryj1 In theory it could work, the decent thing about it is that it doesn't require you to give them an identity. I'd be weary about the danger of relationship maps and I heard about it having something to do with the blockchain which sketches me out.

Have you tried thunderbird?

True best to think of it like a postcard.
