  1. I have very little experience with automatic transmissions. But I’m getting some now with my 6L50 with a shudder converter shudder, it was recommended to flush.. put some instant shudder fix in too… (friction modifier) worked like a charm… initial oil that came out was very very dark… didn’t smell and wasn’t a whole lot of metal in the pan. Was some non ferris glitter in the fluid and half a dozen larger pieces of metal in filter 😮..i ended up changing fluid 2 more times among other things chasing tail over weird vibration thinking I put the wrong fluid in, which ended up just being a bad new trans mount I fitted. Fingers crossed it stays good after over servicing .. it’s super expensive for a rebuild at the moment. Close to $10k with upgrades in Australia.
