The massive disconnect between corporate America and Real Americans is ridiculous. We need to elect officials who aren't corporate tools like Trump or no change politicians like Obama. The Elite live in another world they have paid lifetimes of money for and it doesn't serve us as Real Americans. We can't hope to battle the likes of Amazon without proper politicians backing us.

@heronimousbrapson863 The level to which we as a people have been indoctrinated to the belief that we have to make the choice to go left or right when both are wrong is why that happens. A lot of so called "Democrats" that would be closer to what we need as a people can't happen because of the establishment bias that the current Democrats have. They have to try to be backed by the Dems or they fall in between the cracks as an Independent. I think there is a two part blame there, you can blame the Establishment Democrats for there clear bias and the American people for their inability to look outside their political bubble to maybe find a better candidate. Bernie being the prime example.

@heronimousbrapson863 "conservatism lite" Politicians hopefully will keep getting destroyed in the elections like a light beer no one wants them. Religion and Money need to be taken out of the equation conservatives love mixing religion and money into our political landscape I think it's about time we stopped that. Like power it would seem money corrupts absolutely as well. I love hearing about getting money out of politics at least I think that will help fight at one of the core issues at play here. Corporations have more of a say when it comes to the direction of America than the American people at this point. That fact can be debated but that person would lose.
