  1. To prevent "cultural genocide" you'd need segregation laws right? I'm just trying to understand because I don't know if this is a hot take but umm segregation is bad. It just sounds like people overly concerned about their sense of cultural purity which probably sits really comfortably next to some really racist beliefs. Also is it only bad if you assimilate with white culture? Like a person, African marries a Hispanic person and has kids. Shares their cultures and lives. Which one was assimilated? I guess it depends on the ratio of African to Hispanic, right? They can love each other, but they must always remember the sanctity of how pure their culture is.
