  4. Of course he is, he said he would and now he is. He's a lifetime criminal who for pretty much for the most part has gotten completely away with it. No one has been able to stop him yet. Even when his crimes are right in front of the public, recorded and ultimately somehow forgotten literally in some cases later that day. We have a broken system that doesn't allow the people to hold those in power accountable. The system is pointless if we don't have representation to enforce it.

  10. I blame Trump for my political activism. When he was elected I realized that clearly there are not enough good people in the world and that I needed to be more active. I believed the mainstream media and became comfortable with the idea someone like Trump would never win. I learned my lesson and dropped MSNBC and CNN.

  16. This might sound crazy but I understand the caller and David's point, yes it's actually possible to have a nuanced opinion on something some should give it a try sometime. I understand the caller it may seem like a small critique to us on the left but for the right it's just another bomb they will try to destroy the left with. In the current climate where a person on the left can make a seemingly small mistake and have it used against them like they committed treason. It doesn't help either that those on the right can actually commit treason and have it treated like a small mistake. I think what the caller is touching on is that we don't analyze any one else as closely especially those on the right. It would seem both democrats and republicans love to go after a progressive.

  23. The mental health question is so important. Before the 2016 elections watching Trump and his Cult Republicans wreck the country made me more politically active. Since then I've definitely noticed that it weighs on my mental health multiple hours of news daily everyday of the week. It gets so exhausting keeping up with it all. Most of the time it feels as if I'm watching the country move backwards in time.

Anyone who suggests minimum wage is enough or is too high should be stripped of their money(they are most likely rich) and then made to live off of the bare minimum for let's say a lifetime and see how they feel about it after.
