  1. As someone living in the Netherlands, this really isn't true. I'd say it's much more common in NL than surrounding countries, but most Dutch people (especially in Amsterdam) really aren't as straightforward as people make them out to be. The Dutch are just rude AF most of the time. If you want to find straight to the point type of people you should look at Poland, those people are merciless to be honest.
