@olivegrove2615 : Yes, my father didn't hug me either when my mother died, because they were split up and divorced just like Harry's parents were. That definitely affects the way a former partner expresses grief even within the family circle. Would a hug have made him any better?!

@SpartasEdge : At least he didn't have a regimental stepfather to deal with like I did. He difinitely would have crumbled ... like Ginger Nuts do... ! (The UK biscuit, for non-Brits out there... which can confuse as Americans call scones "biscuits"!) 🙃

@SpartasEdge It can be confusing! I worked with some volunteers a few years back and I remember one in particular who wouldn't pass the "cookies" to an American at the table until he used the British word "biscuits"! He was only fooling around of course and no offence was taken, but it shows how words can migrate, evolve & change! Especially on a multi-national platform like YouTube. ☺
