  1. Very interesting. The site looks relatively neglected. Usually archaeological remains are cordoned off for visitors to see as an attraction with information pertaining to it on signs, as one would find throughout Israel. I'm surprised the Israeli Antiquities Authority are not interested in it as further proof of the Israelites' Biblical presence in this region and city. Obviously, as with Jericho, it has come under Arab Palestinian control and is too political for Israelis to have a presence there demarcating its history, but if Jericho is anything to go by the ruins will only suffer further neglect, if not vandalism if left to an uncertain future. Is the site open to the public or does one have to obtain special permission to see it? Great presentation in your video. Your book sounds most interesting too. I lived in Israel for 10 years, so am used to seeing archaeological sites there, but this one seems to be a bit neglected, or maybe I am getting the wrong impression. Shalom!
