  7. That SAME book of Leviticus (11:10-12) also strongly condemns the eating of sewage-imbibing shellfish as an ABOMINATION (FOUR TIMES emphasized as opposed to only ONCE in 20:13. Put that in the books of the USA. I am a Hilton chef & taught in college that pork & shellfish are "HIGH RISK" foods which matches the Bible's prohibition on eating scavenger animals, but how many "godly" people ignore these words of wisdom from a loving Creator and do as they like?!

  11.  @MS-AllThingsWild  Jesus was a Jew, as was Peter, Paul, the disciples and apostles, Mary & Joseph etc. You must give me the Scripture verse where it says that we don't need to obey everything in the Old Testament as it's just for Jews as I'd like to read it. Maybe you can elaborate on which non-Jews should keep and which they shouldn't as even Noah who was a Gentile, not a Jew, knew the difference between clean and unclean animals going on the Ark long before Sinai.

  15.  @jkeelsnc  yes John Keels, I do agree with you in what you say, that "lots of horrid actions are justified because 'the Bible says so' " (which you say is foolishness), and I would agree with you when you ask the question, "Are you not responsible for what you believe?" I have seen much injustice caused by narrow religious belief and I have experienced that hatred on a personal basis because I did not meet the expectation of religious texts from the Bible. I personally avoid Bible-quoting Christians now due to their hypocrisy & judgementalism. 😔
