@fightingforce8498 : The Jews are Palestinian too, not just Arabs. Pre- 1948 all citizens were called Palestinian, both Palestinian Jews and Palestinian Arabs. It was never "Arab land," but was previously ruled by the British and the Turkish, who are not Arab, with many occupiers before that. The "Palestinian" name does not only pertain to Arabs, but also Jews. So the land never exclusively belonged to the Arabs, and not as a sovereign state. Look up the history, rather than whitewashing it by unproven sweeping statements.

As she said, "THAT'S NOT WHAT I SAID," she clearly wished Palestinians to live in peace, but she had zero empathy with those who refuse to accept the rights of Israelis on their land. That is very different to how the very devious video title portrays it from a 1 min clip! Shame for the deliberate distortion of truth. This is the worst kind of journalist reporting.

@frankf3248 Chosen just means elected for a purpose, not that they were any better than any other people. The same Hebrew word "BECHOR" is used today in Israel for elections i.e. BECHOROT, and even the word used to describe the Christian Church as "the elect" is the same word. It's only resented when it is in connection with the Jews as so many hate them.

@nijixing212 Well, no one has said it to me before in that context, so it hasn't reached us here in Northern Ireland yet in the vernacular as we are a small quite isolated country. I will try to refrain from mentioning books if that helps. We walk a very delicate tightrope! 🙃
