  1. As a terminally ill kidney patient reliant on dialysis to stay alive I can testify to the toxic attitudes and actions by so called health ("care") staff over weak & sick people. I was also a chef before I got sick and worked in some old people's homes & itbis the same vile attitude. Basically it is an "us" and "them" thinking, and seeing fellow stafv members as "friends", wheras patients are referred to as "clients" which debases them to less than equal human.

I certainly hope things will progress in a cordial and democratic way, but some of the language already seems a bit heated. When I grew up in Northern Ireland, it only took one side to get its own way and then tensions turned ugly. It was about similar issues with two hotly disputed viewpoints. Let's hope it is a friendly split that will hardly even need a mention in the history books because the transition is so peaceful. I also lived in Israel, but there is still bitterness and strife there. 🙃

If they would all be better off then put it into action like the Israelis did resurrecting Hebrew from basically only liturgical usage to an everyday tongue used in commerce, education & Government. Let India and Ireland follow suit and be "better off" as you say by not using any English. They are both free to chart their own destinity and make their mark on the world, in their own languages of course just like the British did so that they will be much more "better off." British has to borrow money to do anything now, so it's an even playing field for all nations to create wealth and prosperity instead of casting up what happened over a hundred years ago. I have only lived in Northern Ireland and Israel where borders have always been an issue, and commenting on them. Best to stay out of politics and religion methinks. I'll find a gardening video instead. 🙃 I have only experienced conflict in those two locations, and as you say not ever as bad as your history in Eastern Europe that you cite. Although I met lots of nice Eastern Europeans in Israel.

As far as it stands (correct me if I am wrong), but I think the British Prime Minister had to be a member of the Church of England or of the Protestant Christian faith, due to the previous history trying to prevent a Roman Catholic from taking office in a Protestant country? This was why Tony Blair had to wait until his tenure as PM finished before he could openly convert to Roman Catholicism. It wouldn't make any diffefence to me, and I am sure too for most, but that stipulation may raise "issue" with people from non-Protestant community groups being the leader of the British nation. Perhaps if a candidate from one of those minority communities were successful it would put these archaic laws under the spotlight of public and Parliamentary scrutiny to be amended, if it has not been already. I wouldn't "favour" because of minority status, but nor should we exclude. Anyhow, it is more likely to be the usual "majority" group/status candidates that will succeed as I am sure there are a lot out there who would NOT want to "favour" or choose a minority status PM. And that goes for those from a minority group who may be, as you say, competent or not.

  152. Before 1948 both Jews and Arabs were allowed to live in Judea, which non-Jews call the "West Bank" in order to cover up any historical Jewish links. How can it be exclusively Arab land if ancient Hebrew cities like Hebron have the Jewish Patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac & Jacob and their wives buried there, yet in Israel Arabs are permitted to live freely in places like Nazareth, Jaffa, Haifa etc? As in Northern Ireland it cannot be divided into cantons. We have an uneasy peace in Belfast, but it's better than living in a state of constant war. When I lived in Israel the foreign media inflamed matters by publicising every negativity. They will never make peace while the media keeps polarising them by their reportage. Also prior to 1948 the Jews were Palestinian too, the term never only pertaining to Arabs. The use of the word "Palestinian" exclusively to describe Arabs gives the false impression that all Jews are "blow-ins" while the Arabs are the only ones who ever lived here pre-'48.

  156.  @eleanorwalmsley635  I visited Philippines where the elderly are the centre of the family. All the children & grandchildren run to play & visit with an elderly grandparent with much love. So different to our Western culture, although that doesn't stop the vile abuse of sick people.

So how is Israel not a place, if the Angel mentions it? 🤔 I guess Great Britain is a nation, but not a place either? God gave the Jews a LAND (as an "everlasting possession"), not just the status of nationhood, although they are a people too. In the end of days, as you mention, all the nations of the world will gather at Armageddon to come against Israel, and those nations who come against her will be utterly destroyed. 💥 Armageddon is a physical place in the Land of Israel, not an attachment just to a people. Of course the nations' target will be the people of Israel, but in the physical land of Israel. God says that those who bless Israel will be blessed, and those who curse Israel will be cursed.
