Christ was never in Christ-Mass, the Mass of Christ was never observed by the early Church.

@AlexOjideagu2 The early Church never kept it without it lessening their faith and the pre-Roman Celtic Church of Ireland and Britain never kept it, until the Synod of Whitby in 664, after which the British Church turned Roman with the later Protestants keeping the Roman "holy days" without question until this day. Others lie to their children about Santa & flying reindeer!

@deedeelaveen6872 Christ is Greek, not English either. Mashiach or Messiah is the original Hebrew word used by Jews to described someone anointed, such as the kings David & Solomon. They were all men of colour, despite the global trend by Gentile Christians to portray them as white people. Jesus was not used in the first century, just the Name Yeshua meaning "salvation."

@AlexOjideagu2 I agree 100%. And if they want "Christ" or Messiah put back into "Christmas" or the Mass of Christ ("Christ-Mass") why do the non-Catholics never mention the "Mass" in it?! 🙃

@professorplums722 Please supply me the passages in the Old Testament that mention the early Church. The early Jewish Church is mentioned only in the New Testament centred in Jerusalem, which had 12 successive Jewish bishops after Ya'akov ("James") for 100 years, until the European Gentiles razed the Holy City ethnically cleansing it of Christian and non-Christian Jews in 135 CE. Unless you are terming the congregation of the Israelites as the early Church in the Old Testament as it is the very same Hebrew generic word "kehilah" meaning "congregation." The Gentiles, however, modernly mis-apply this word to mean a building, which it is not. The generic word in Scripture for a meeting place is "Beit Knesset" (Hebrew) or "sinagoga" (Greek), but Gentile Christians don't use this as they apply it only to Jews. 🙃 Which ever Church you meant, what is the point you are making by pointing this out? 🤔

@NicolaRoberts-x3v So why did He keep the Jewish Feast of Passover from the age of 12 making the pilgrim journey with His parents and even dying on that Jewish Feast Day after having a Jewish Passover Meal with His Jewish disciples, and keeping the Feast of Tabernacles (the Great Feast) and the Jewish Festival of Hanukkah, the Feast of Dedication in the winter as described in the Gospel of John (Yochanan)? Hardly ignoring the Jewish faith by doing all that. Go by the facts that is actually written in the Scriptures rather than your own assumptions which can be biased by anti-Jewish sentiment, discrimination and Christian resentment. 🙃 The Jews practised love and forgiveness too if you read the Commandments of the LORD. 🕎 Who said I have a claim over "Jesus", as you re-name Him? 🤔 Yeshua, as His Father named Him through the Angel of the LORD, meaning "salvation", died for all of sinful humanity and Gentiles are no better than Jews, for the Gentiles clearly hammered the nails into His hands and feet. 😒 At least they can claim that, just as they blame every Jew alive today for what happened 2,000 years ago. What is wrong with being Jewish by faith? Yeshua is a Jew & God is the God of Israel. ✡

@thomasettorre1197 Not everybody wants this holiday forced upon us actually. Human beings are diverse, whether British or not. St Patrick of Ireland never observed Christmas and seemed to get by just fine. ☘ And the Celtic Church was dominant throughout Britain until the Synod of Whitby in 664 enforced Roman "holy days" over the earlier traditions of the Irish and British. 🎄

@andrewmasterman372 He awakened people to love, serve and obey God their Creator. He didn't lead people astray from things God commanded in Scripture that were right or wrong. Modern woke destroys all of that and attacks the very pillars of society that have been our bedrock.
