Very true. Or unless they get sick.

I don't think it warns against ALL meats, but only those with harmful additives. Some of the vegan "meat imitations" I see in supermarkets look very unnaturual and man-made and I wonder what goes into producing them, some of them invented in laboratories.

@TURTLEORIGINAL Leviticus 11:7-8. "And the SWINE (PIG), although it divides the hoof, having cloven hooves, yet does not chew the cud, is UNCLEAN to you. 8. Their flesh YOU SHALL NOT EAT, and their carcases YOU SHALL NOT TOUCH. They are UNCLEAN to you." (God.) 👑

I think unprocessed meat should be natural and untampered with.

Even the sodium levels in "grey ham" are unhealthy enough, as ham and bacon are "cured" in saline to stop the flesh rotting, unlike beef which can be hung for 28 days or more, as cows are not scavengers and eat a herbivore diet and regurgitate their food in more than one stomach, therefore there are less toxins in their flesh, unlike pigs who need to be "cured" as they rot so quickly due to the high toxin levels. For the same reason sewage-imbibing scavenging lobsters have to be cooked alive as their flesh will begin to rot almost immediately after they are killed.

Leviticus 11 is a whole chapter on foods God recommends for consumption (though most ignore). As a qualified chef in college they told me pork & shellfish were "HIGH RISK" foods!

One of God's greatest blessings was what God instructed in Leviticus chapter 11 on food.
