Comments by "Scented-leaf Pelargonium" (@scented-leafpelargonium3366) on "Asking Boris Johnson's old constituents if they'll still vote Tory" video.
James O'Malley : These people have been drip-fed negativity from the media. No need to thank God for that.

The video is slanted against him.

@spikefawkes5152 Well, the others got re-interviewed multiple times as the interviewer got what he wanted to hear. He only put the one positive Boris comment at the beginning as a flag to incite.

@julianshepherd2038 Yes, you're right. I just realised after I typed it. But I still feel the video was heavily slanted against Boris in order to put forward the interviewer's own perspective. A similar video could be made with one man berating Boris at the beginning and then lots of people praising him up for the rest of the video. It's not always truly representative. Many who are happy are quieter than those who aren't.

@jhonhdhcb7495 What you are against is people having a different opinion to you. We are allowed that in a free democratic society, at least for the time being. If you want to whime and find fault that is your prerogative, but there are others who see the positive side and are supportive. Until right of opinion and free speech is erased there is nothing you can do about that, but that is already being steamrolled out of existence, so we will be left to mob rule and crybaby anarchy.

Palace Fan : True, people still do like Christ. ✝️🎄

@MikeNewland Have you got any suggestions then? The British people seem great at commenting and complaining, which is great in a free democracy, but never take much action themselves. We will never have a leader come to fruition as long as we keep demolishing them with intense scrutiny as soon as they get into office then blame and hiund them when anything goes wrong or there are intractible issues to deal with. The people will never be happy, no matter who is in office.
1
Ian Weatherston : It's called democracy. Get used to it.
1
Anthony Mcnamee : So a system that would prevent voters from voting in whom they want basically, to keep the likes of Boris out. That's the route to communism and dictatorahips. 🙃
1
@By-Fun-Jokes-Guitars Voters will always differ wherever you have freedom and democracy. How "new" do you want your voters to be, and what choices are you allowing them in order to meet your agenda?
1
@Da1Dez Yes, we can always look to the hypothetical.
1
@alexmackay7454 It's the politicians who make the laws. They do not make up themselves. 🙃
1
@Robespierre-lI Clarify a "numpty"? Have you no numpties in your own perfect country?
1
Gillian Pope : Yes, people have become so cynical and are now influenced so much by what the media says that has so much one-sided character assassination that they flay any politician.
1
@glen9303 No, Boris suffered with it and nearly died in hospital from Covid just like so many other families out there. If anyone can identify with all the suffering during Covid, Boris can.
1
@Charlie_Crown Well MANY people seemed to be when they voted him in with a landslide victory. But people are fickle and began to attack him rather than support his leadership during the difficult times. All people did was look for his faults while forgetting all his achievements. I saw how the media made molehills into mountains and gleefully aided his swift demise. This pattern is set and will likely befall any leadetahip we have in the future, always beying for blood and putting those in positions of leadership under unfair and unbearable public scrutiny. Any human being will be found to be at fault at the hands of such a brutally critical society.

@jhonhdhcb7495 No, you have stated it yourself, that you believe that my narrative fits my false reality, which shows you not only do not believe me but that you disagree with opinions different to your own. Unfortunately that knife cuts both ways, and I can outwardly reject your narrative. My narrative is based on what I observe in life, and too many are quick to call people liars. We live in an accuse and abuse society, and Boris Johnson is a victim of that. The comments on here against him are diabolical. People jump to quick conclusions and then cast up & condemn.
1
@br0wnkrak3n70 Who do you want then? 🤔 Seems people will never be satisfied.
1
@br0wnkrak3n70 I think it is nowadays. Morality is in severe decline. I don't even trust pushy phone companies. Hope they find what you're looking for! But they will similarly scrutinize, or else mock like with Liz Truss, before they band together to openly vilify and crucify them. 🙃
1
@Robespierre-lI I'm not looking hard for bias. It is as plain as the nose on one's face. He is hated, hounded, berated, mocked, vilified and accused in most unfair and primitive ugly fashion.
1
@tayetrotman The people who are not against Boris are not as vocal and vitriolic as they are not running a constant hate campaign in order to assassinate someone's character & career. It's always the loudmouths that get heard and noticed, but it doesn't mean they are in the majority, at least the quiet support for Boris is still there is a very sizeable proportion.
