  19.  @lisahill186  societies that have better social nets are more successful societies overall. You can look at this through world history all over it as well as present day in the world. The sides that have stronger, social nuts, people up from poverty, easier than those that don’t. Which means that that society overall becomes more financially successful. As well as public education, those societies have better public education and higher education have more successful societies. The point is this can be done all day. There is evidence that having strong safety nuts, benefit a society. An unhealthy society spreads to everybody else who can afford it. Ultimately, it is more affordable to prevent a sickness than to wait for it to be rampant before you deal with it, and all those safety nuts are actually preventions. Another side to that government that has some responsibility for the condition of their people are less likely to create worse conditions. An example in the United States, we spend more money per capita in our tax dollars than universal healthcare countries do. That is our negotiation for our costs is so out of whack due to the individualized nature of it. Aside from that the imposter numbers that have health issues like diabetes and such goes up because of their impoverished diets and the poison that we put in our food. In countries that have universal healthcare Quality of health of their people is important because they put the bill which means they don’t put poison in their food. As well as it changes the mentality of the government from not wanting medicine that keeps you sick, but treat the symptoms over finding a cure. America would save a lot more money if it had universal healthcare than what it spends right now the average person who buys healthcare would also pay less overall because their money taxes would not equal what they pay for healthcare. Meaning that it would actually benefit them as well.aside from that Americans don’t go to the hospital when they’re sick. They wait till their situation is chronic and then they go because they have a historic mentality to not go to the doctor when they’re sick of which universal healthcare countries do not share that mentality.

  27. Wow, decent republicans still exist. I have been pretty shocked by some of the things they have stood behind. Trump has divided the country. the country that over the last several decades has cut its violent crime rate by more than half has expanded a resurgence since the Trump administration, and you can hear it in the bases casual speak these days. The kind of casual violence talk or hate filled talk that just a decade ago would have ended the popular acceptance of a candidate is rampant. The head of the heritage foundation threatening bloodshed of liberals on television casually out of his mouth. I am so saddened by republicans over it. I used to think they were decent folks who just believed in a different view, and you win some and you lose some. But Trump tried to coup our country. He tried to use our military, went against our constitution and created false electors, made up stories to anger his base, to the point they did the unthinkable and attacked our government. It’s made me so disillusioned. I’ve been all over this country numbers of times. I have met people from every single state except for Alaska. Most people are decent. Every group of every genre of everything there is a very small percentage that sucks. It’s not specific to a political party or religion or race. Just happens to be percentage of people who aren’t that great but most people are. And when I see how much hate it being filled in the hearts of an entire party of people that they’re falling behind such an evil man breaks my heart. This is our America. This is what’s happening to it. I think Trump is the cause. I think it’s out though so I don’t think casually just removing Trump is going to end it. I think he has touched on the heat in peoples hearts instead of the openness to understand each other. I think it would take a decade easily to fix this mess and that can only happen if Trump is never in power again or man like him or woman like him is not in power ever again With that whole project 2025 and the fact that Republicans have joined forces so sternly against even helping the American people and things like the no gouging bill or the border bill. It makes me wonder if they can be trusted to care about America first the irony is I sound like a Democrat. But I’m a political historian who doesn’t have a party. There is a present out there that I don’t think has messed up somewhere or present out there that I don’t think has done some good but overall they’ve done my three favorite presidents only one of them is a democrat. But I have to say this may have removed Republicans from my heart for quite a while as individuals still believe most people are good.
