Even if I didn't have a chauffeur or a valet to park my $100,000 sedan, I would not leave it roaming the streets by itself looking for parking.  And showing off? Showing off is pulling up to an event in a Lamborghini, or stepping out of the back seat of a limousine class vehicle. Not bragging about how you have a key that can park the car.

You're saying the Litchfield GT-R would have demolished the 991 Turbo S. I agree, it probably would have. But saying that is meaningless because the Litchfield is a modified car in a comparison of stock cars.

  5. +Leopard95 If it were dry, the Porsche would have been able to utilize more of its torque to pull itself out of corners, in addition to taking advantage of the extra grip due to its rear weight bias.

Better engine, N/A 6 cylinder flat six screamer with the most unique noise in the market, more free revving, better gas mileage. What the fuck are you talking about. More practical...you're an idiot. You really think the AMG GT is a GT car in the sense that it's more comfortable? Good lord. And you really think the C GTS is a TRACK car? Damn, ever heard of a GT3? Still comfortable in the real world, and would wipe the floor with any AMG in excitement and lap times.

G9 Music I guess you forgot the rear seats in the 911 are often put down to be used as storage space...or that Porsche has a far better reliability record than Mercedes meaning less to maintain, or that 911 has engines that are just as powerful as the AMG GT and are quicker...or engines that are LESS powerful and are STILL quicker...sound is subjective, but it's fact that the AMG GT has a far more generic noise than the 911. There are many V8s that make similar noises as the AMG GT, only the 911 makes noise like the 911. Nobody is trolling here, you're just stupid.

The GT3's 3.8 has less power, with a noise that is far more special than the generic V8 in the MB, and I can guarantee you 9/10 people who have driven both will say that engine in the GT3 is better than the AMG GT's. Get your head out of your ass.  Stupidity transcends grammatical errors on a Youtube thread, for crying out loud. Only stupid people would judge intelligence level by grammar on a thread meant for people to use during their free time. Keep trying buddy. Aside from "the V8 is more powerful and I think it sounds better therefore it is better", what else you got?

By that definition, I can strap a turbocharger on a 335i engine and create more output than the M4's. That doesn't not make my 335i have a better engine.  Umar Khan No, it doesn't share the same sound as other V8, but it has a similar sound; V8s always do. There are components of the noise that sets each V8 apart, but that's about it. NOTHING sounds like a flat 6 in a 911, aside from another flat 6 in another 911. The straight 6 in a BMW sounds nothing like it.

  17. +BeBarnee Thats rather contradictory seeing as the GT4 and the GT3 lineup has arguably even less faults than the Turbo and Carrera lineup. Theyre incredibly reliable, well built, well engineered, and whatever the GTs lose in comfort, they make up for double in performance and excitement. Id wager a bet youve never actually owned a car thats exciting in this way, because what people look for in a special car isnt faults, its excitement. Nobody buys an Alfa Romeo, or Ferrari, or Lamborghini because of all its faults, its because of the excitement and driving experience.

  18. V Sizzle Like my original comment said, if the NSX was cheaper, maybe cost as much as a GT-R, or even an AMG GT-S it'd be fine. But considering it costs MORE than the 911 Turbo and the R8, and considering those two cars feel better to drive (according to reviewers), are faster, cost less, that gives us substantial reason to dislike the NSX.

Just because they're rich doesn't mean they blow their money away. You think they got rich because they spend their money carelessly? Unless the buyer is techie who really cares that it's a hybrid or simply that much of an NSX fan, there is no logical reason for anyone to buy the NSX. Anyone with money is smart enough to see that. That fact that you think wealth=you don't care about money shows how fucking hideously stupid you really are. And I actually know some people who do own cars that are $200,000 or more. They cannot spend money without a care in the world. They're rich, they have money leftover to spend even after their big house, supercar, and many many things they own, but they are not careless with their money. Price always matters when you're competing in a segment. If your product is more expensive, there should be a reason why it is so in the consumer's perspective. The NSX lacks much of that. I loved the LFA when it came out btw, but hey, keep generalizing, that will get you places. How about this, if you reply again with no logic or reasoning, and only insults that make you look like the piece of dirt you are, don't bother responding.   23. snooopy365 I won't get into detail about GT-R vs GT3 on track, because that will take awhile and I don't have that kind of time (look up Nissan's track tuning of the Nurburgring time attack cars. Such a shame for such a capable car. Then reference that with the GT-R's Nurburgring lap times vs. the GT-R's lap times everywhere else).  If a GT-R can carry more speed through a corner than any other ordinary supercar, and it has such capable straight-line performance, why is it not the fastest production car on every single track? Because there are "ordenary" supercars that can corner faster. And what you basically said was: The GT-R is in the top 10 in every category, but never first, therefore it is the best. Do you NOT see how stupid that statement is? The original point is, the GT-R is not the best car of the last 10 years. It may be the best supercar from Japan in the last 10 years, it may be the best bargain for you performance in the last ten years, but it is not the best CAR in the last ten years. There is a big difference.

  28. Its more compliant ride and better engine/exhaust note makes the C63 a much better option in my opinion. You'd never use that last 1/10 the M4 has on the road, whether its on the streets or up in the mountains, and quite frankly 90% of us can't extract that last 1/10 out of the M4 even if we were on track. Not too sure if the Edition 1 is necessary though, given the regular models are so good

You are comparing the success of a TV show with what you perceive as the failure of two human beings. Two entirely different things. The success of a CAR and only a CAR is based on the sales, the car's quality and ability, and VERY minutely, its perception by the public. Just because you think it looks ugly does not mean the sales figures are low, or the driving dynamics are poor or its build quality is low. Simply having a less than elegant design does not nullify the plethora of accomplishments of the other cars. Nice try though, let me know when you got something better.

  40. denni hansen You actually have a backwards, the Mercedes Biturbo uses two identical turbos, whereas "Twin Turbo" refers to sequential twin turbocharging, which is one large one small. These are all automotive slang, however, there is no technicality between biturbo and twin turbo, just what is accepted over time

  48. The GT2 was recently seen tested in San Francisco. If we can safely assume the GT2 will come out sometime mid-late year in 2014, it's likely the GT2RS will be debuted sometime a year or two afterwards. Which is not abnormal for car releases, it's very rare that two directly competing cars from different manufacturers are released at roughly the same time.

  49. The Audi RS7 is a great car and all, but that lack of steering feel is a serious problem. Driving fast while having little to no feel through the steering wheel is terrifying. I mean, Audi is able to give the R8 great steering feel, I struggle to understand why they can't dial in some of that into other cars in the Audi line up.
