  2. I think in some countries, cars with engines bigger than 3.0L get taxed like crazy. Not too sure if that's why Porsche did this, but I wouldn't be surprised. I certainly agree that a much more could've been done to reduce fuel economy, I mean look at the C7 Corvette...that thing has a monstrous V8 and gets quite good MPG
