Do you have any evidence of these claims? I agree there was some alarmism in the early days which I think was supposed to wake people up to the dangers coming. Lake mead is at 25% capacity and the hydro electric generators in the dams may soon stop working. So no water or electricity for millions in south west USA. It will also cripple the agriculture in that area which ALL of the US relies upon.
