Oil Reserves in the United States
The United States holds 45,000,000,000 barrels of proven oil reserves as of 2016, ranking 11th in the world and accounting for about 2.1% of the world's total oil reserves of 1,650,585,140,000 barrels.
The United States has proven reserves equivalent to 4.9 times its annual consumption. This means that, without imports, there would be about 5 years of oil left (at current consumption levels and excluding unproven reserves).
OIL RESERVES
45,000,000,000 barrels
Global Rank: 11th | Share of World: 2.13 %
6-7 years of oil left
(at current consumption levels)
If I am wrong just tell me?
FYI - I would welcome corrections if the following contains errors.
US proven oil reserves 45,000,000,000 barrels (proven is currently acceptable notation)
US daily oil usage 20,000,000 barrels
Do some Maths
Days of Oil left at current usage 2250 - less than 6-7 years before all US proven oil reserves are depleted using just your reserves.
Carry on taunting OPEC will go well?
For those worried about their Grandchildren, this will happen to your kids and you.
Consider using less? Fekk, save the planet and make it rain in California while you are at it?

@blueking5739 Top U.S. Diplomat On Americans Left In Afghanistan: "They Chose Not To Leave, That's Their Business"
Posted By Tim Hains
On Date August 26, 2021
Ross Wilson, the acting U.S. ambassador to Afghanistan, told CBS Evening News on Wednesday that Americans remaining in the country were repeatedly warned to leave and "chose not to."
"That's their business, that's their right," Wilson said.
"We put out repeated warnings every three weeks to Americans going back to March or April. Each one in stronger terms: Leave now, leave immediately."
"Never in my 40 years of working at the State Department have I seen such strong language used. People chose not to leave. That's their business, that's their right," he said. "We regret now that many may find themselves in a position they would rather not be in and we are determined to try and help them."
What is means, motive and opportunity?
