If people don't have the physical money to pay a bill, employing logic and rational thought, it would stand to reason that the bill(s) ain't gonna get paid. That's it. However, on the flip side, "they" also don't give a ** if you can pay or not. They'll screw you upside down and inside out till you're down bad on your ass and cancel all your shit, take or repossess all your shit, tank your credit, and basically bar you from ever being able to financially do anything (especially finance anything like a car) and just make it harder on you. They'll intercept your tax refund and garnish your wages. Welcome to the United States of the broke and poor.

Making more would be great, but it doesn't always work out that way for a lot of people. It is easier to say this when you make "more" money. People are trapped in most cases. Is there a way out? Probably, but there isn't necessarily a path to get there unless you are lucky or just extremely qualified to the point you can literally do anything and get a job anywhere easily. I mean, we're dealing with reality here.

  36. I would think rent/mortgage and car notes are up there on the list. I believe that people can leave this country, or any country. People emigrate all the time from their countries. Just because you're born somewhere don't mean you're stuck there forever and it doesn't mean you can't experience other places in the world. It is hard because we have family. I think family and money are the 2 biggests reasons why people don't. I get it. It takes some planning and likely isn't easy, but people do it.
