Capitalism led to greed, among other factors, so these are BOTH the problem.

If you think about it, $50/Hour isn't even 100k per year. $50. Anything less than $50 isn't actually enough, and almost NO company is gonna pay anything near that unless you are REALLY lucky or some other circumstance that allows you to make that much.

It's like some kind of bad joke.

Better off getting terminated because then you can likely get a severance package, and you can get unemployment(which sucks ass). If you quit you a sitting duck and fucked. U aint getting a damn thing.

This will help people. Ty for sharing. People need to understand as well that to give oneself some grace and be easy on oneself is crucial. It is ok to make mistakes and deal with consequences because that is part of survival and how we learn. Money comes and goes.

Money absolutely buys happiness, unfortunately. Even though happiness is a state of mind that you have to sort of create in your own brain, money definitely helps. People who say it don't are those who don't have money and are trying to accept their lot and that they're broke to make for a softer landing. This is an attempt to rationalize not having money.

Better off staying in the military 🪖. Shits fucked out here.

-Live at home with parents if possible -Learn to be a minimalist -Don't have kids -Don't get married -Don't own anything (Nobody actually owns anything anyway) -Prioritize wellness and health -Remember that we will all get sick and die and nothing actually matters in the sense people think -Have a nice life

I would love to start a YouTube channel, but I don't know what to really center it around. I have ideas. Not sure if I should act on them. Have a decent 9 to 5, which is easily the best job I've had, which I worked hard for. Can't just up and quit that because my income comes from that, and it's afforded me to save quite a lot of funds. However, a 9 to 5 is not fulfilling. It is routine and tedious. Not sure how to break away. Feel trapped. Wondering where this will lead to. Maybe somewhere. Maybe nowhere. Pondering my every move and every thought. Getting caught up in the manutia of it, but trying to see the bigger scheme of things. Just can't decide.

Wanna save money? Don't have kids. Don't own anything. (You'll never own anything in actuality anyway). Be a minimalist. Live with your parents if you could. Swallow the pride. Parents brought us into this hellscape. They would be happy to help. (For those whose parents do not help you, I'm sorry for you.)

Being broke IS a FT job. That guy's brother is right. Being broke is expensive and causes people to constantly scramble to figure out what to do. NOT easy.

All valid points 1000%. The United States is a business, not a country.

The United States is especially designed just like a casino...to get YOUR money. Point blank period. Do not own anything (you never actually will anyway), do not have kids, do not go into any debt, be a minimalist, live simply. However, the exception will be MEDICAL PROBLEMS. We will all get sick and sadly, this is the one that will get EVERYBODY. You cannot avoid getting a disease or getting cancer or whatever the fuck. Enjoy your fleeting time here on this planet. Whatever time we get is luck. Don't ever think it won't happen to you. Accept as fact. Move on, and remember, we will all die, and nothing really matters in the sense people think. This is not nihilism. This is reality.

Everyone and their mom and grandma work in social media, and it is a FT job and hard to become successful doing it. Even Youtubers say this in their videos. Unless a youtuber lucks out and hits a home run and blows up quick (which is rare) then, yah, that ain't paying bills at all and then you're stuck still relying on the 9 to 5 paycheck. Also, like the girl at 9:20 said, she don't have a dream job and doesn't really want to work. She is right. Nobody "wants" to work because work isn't a want. Work is a need in order to survive in a greedy modern-day sick society that exists because some morons way back when created something called MONEY.

Unemployment is a joke, except nobody is laughing. Ridiculous. Florida is terrible for this.

EVERYONE is lost and confused, and everyone at some point gets left behind. It is called LIFE. Ain't no guarantees out here, and nobody coming to save you. That is a fact. Best to just do what you can and try to find enjoyment in the journey. Can't control anything.

I thought Antarctica was the coldest.

Understandable bro. I'm sure you'll figure it out. You are an intelligent guy.

There is nothing worse than working a 9 to 5 that you either dislike or hate, and on the flip side there ain't much worse than being broke.
