@astralxing988 What do you mean by "no political class"? Just because corruption is legal (and know as lobby) in western countries doesn't meant that there is no corruption. France even counts profit that drug dealers make as part of its' GDP. Russia has the most advanced technologies in nuclear energy, missiles and space. Russian economy is 5-th largest in the world. Wages are low, but the prices are also low. For example internet cost for about 5$ monthly. And I can keep braking you pathetic arguments like that for a while, and I have some time for that.

@astralxing988 German president has less power than Merkel, so comparison is correct. Ever heard about Japan? It is a democracy without term limit. Most people name Shoigu - Russian minister of defense as possible presidential candidate if Putin step out. Personally I can add Lavrov - miniseter of foreign affairs, Zakharova - spokeswoman, or even Valuev - ex heavy weight boxer. I think any of them can replace Putin easily.

Russia is fighting against corruption, there were people up to ministers who were imprisoned for corruption, but when was the last time you saw any high-ranked politician from EU or US going to jail? It's impossible to punish them for corruption. As we speak Russia builds 8 nuclear power plants in 8 different countries around the world, including EU members Finland and Hungary. Next generation of Russian nuclear power plant will work on nuclear waste, making them the most green power source. Even after recent successful launch of SpaceX, NASA already paid Russia $90 millions to send another American astronaut to space. Russia is the world's largest producer of wheat and sugar. I live in Saint-Petersburg, Russia in a flat with 3 rooms and a small kitchen. And I need about $100 monthly to cover all bills: flat itself, electricity, water, heating. The same flat in the US can easily cost at least 10 times more. Lst time I checked migration statistics in 2015 there were more people who moved from USA to Russia than in the opposite direction. And I think, thank to ongoing protests in the US, there will be more and more people who want to move to Russia. Another bunch of your pathetic arguments easily destroyed. Too easy for me...

And there are no rules that keep Putin in power forever, we the people of Russia can vote him out on next elections if we want to. Presumption of innocence says that everyone is not guilty until proven otherwise, and there are absolutely no proofs that link Nemtsov's murder to Putin. Imprisonment in Russia happens according Russian laws, not Putin's will. RT is much less propaganda than CNN or BBC. At least RT lets both sides to be heard. @astralxing988 Every country has some kind of intelligence/counterintelligence department, KGB is just one of them. There are no good or bad, they just do their job to protect their countries. Putin has won 4 elections already and this is the ONLY reason why he remains the president for so long. If we (the Russians) to decide that we need another president we can elect another one as soon as next elections in 2024. Look, 14000 Americans shot dead every year. I can easily tell you that all of them were killed by direct order from American president. And you do exactly the same when you try to link any murder or accident in Russia to Putin. This is absurd! When was the last time you saw anybody with pro-Russian position on Euronews for example? Or on CNN? BBC? I can't remember anything unless 20 or maybe 30 years ago. Different point of view is NOT ALLOWED on these news channels. But RT and other Russian channels work differently, they let both sides to speak. For example it's possible to see members of European Parliament on central Russian TV channel talk shows. And they can openly speak and deliver their western point of view to Russian audience. @peabase How can a hypersonic missile transform into civilian product? Or a nuclear power plant? Or a space rocket? Those are very popular products themselves. Russian weapons sell like hot cakes. Right now Russia builds 8 nuclear power plants in 8 different countries, including EU members Finland and Hungary. And NASA already paid Russia $90 millions to send another American astronaut to space. Nuclear weapons do a lot to advance a country economically. Look at Libya or Iraq for example, these countries were destroyed by NATO, because they had no nuclear weapons, but North Korea and Iran still stand, because they have nuclear weapons. See the difference? Given the number of protests in the US right now and a huge wall on its' border, it's a big question who is holding humanity hostage and who doesn't... It only depends on what kind of informational bubble you are living in: if you want to surround yourself with videos showcasing unmatched might of Russian Federation, Youtube will gladly do this for you. But of course the opposite is possible as well...
