  1. I'd heard about mothballs in fuel, maybe it did better with 1960's fuel? Interesting about the 'B12' composition. . Around 12~13 years ago I read about adding between 2~3% acetone to fuel as a performance booster (more than 3% doesn't work although I forget why) A friend tried it in carburetted motorcycle and claims there was a noticeable increase in performance. (1970's sub 400cc four-stroke road tested new at 91mph) It was noticeably faster acceleration even compared to my 1995 600cc bike (although that may also be due to the way he abused it?) There even seemed to be an improvement when E10 was introduced. I have no idea how you could test this though without going to a racetrack/drag strip. Maybe one of your more than 2 million subscribers has anecdotal 'evidence'?
