About 99.999% of my experience is on motorcycles (only do my own, family and a few friends cars) When I tyre needs that much weight it's probable it was balanced when manufactured to have a slightly 'heavy' spot to compensate for the added weight of TPS valve. I know Continental do it but can't remember if Pirelli do the same? Just for SAG I have checked bare wheels to see how well they were manufactured, most were pretty accurate. 'Correct' thing to do is rotate the tyre 180 degrees on the wheel ( or whatever rotation position indicated on balance machine)
