  1. Have you tried putting DuckDuckGo on an Android phone? Google doesn't like it and tries to give you a modified version from Play Store, you have to download directly from DDG website. I had similar issue with Edge when putting it on laptops and had to install Firefox first which then allowed me to do what I wanted. (I've used Firefox since it came out, 2010 or 2012, quite a while ago even if I can't remember and too lazy to 'google' it 😁😁
