  6. I really don't know what to say. There are many many companies who say they are the only people who can repair their products, I always think 'What are they trying to hide?' Often, it's greed (as in Apple saying they don't ship chargers and accessories to 'reduce waste'?) but more often in my experience, it's because things are sub-par and they don't want people to be aware of how badly they are being ripped off. Good marketing with a bunch of psychologists 'profiling' the target customer often seems to be the priority over a 'good' product BTW, I only just noticed my 'subscribe' button is 'red' again? I've seen posts that a lot of people say Google is removing their subscriptions to various channels?

  7. As you pointed out it isn't just electric bikes but many cyclists think they are entitled to ignore traffic laws. Personally I feel electric bikes and scooters should be licensed and insured as motorcycles when they are capable of more than 14mph. NYC didn't even require motorcycles to be registered in the 1970's (I only know because I bought some 1974 Honda's than were never titled). As with many things, get away with things a few times then familiarity breeds contempt. Didn't know you moved to NH. My wife is from there but it's too cold for me in winter 😄 (and it was 'only' -4 when I was there)

  9. In Britain, BBC gets money from TV licenses and ad free. Independent television is ad supported but otherwise 'free' Cable TV used to be subscription to avoid ads but I haven't lived in Britain 25 years so no idea whats happening today? In USA, cable TV is subscription plus ads which just shows the greed of cable TV providers as they sure as hell ain't using the money to provide better content in majority of shows

Hi Lewis, Really like your video's, seems Orwell's prediction is going to be at least 50 years late but big business is ruining America (and the world) for 'ordinary people' I'm a motorcycle tech but there are several companies I refuse to support because of their business practices (Google, APPLE, SONY, Canon, Microsoft et.al) Apple is one of the worst, I find it difficult to believe people are so stupid to buy into the hype. Does APPLE make good stuff? Sure it does, but, it's designed to be obsolete before it even reaches the market. Harley Davidson was studied worldwide for it's marketing, pretty much declaring people 'un-American' if they bought any imports even when the company made so little of their own parts they could only state 'Assembled in USA'( only needs to be 52% to state 'Made in USA') .For automotive there are 'Lemon Laws' but they rarely if ever apply to motorcycles. Things will probably get much worse now nVidia has bought ARM and Apple is designing it's own ARM chips to keep everything 'in house'. Steve Jobs was an absolute ** and it doesn't look like any of the APPLE management in place today is any better.

  12. How DUMB are people to keep buying Apple products? I will never have any Apple product again (unless I won it in a competition but even then would sell it as soon as possible) I was a motorcycle mechanic and because of the people I've met or worked for have a very deep distrust of repair industry in general. There are a LOT of dishonest people out there
