@Galf506 That would be a good idea but will never happen. You would probably need a test pilot ho has already tried 'everything' and 'got away with it' Having a lot of hours on a machine doesn't automatically mean you know what to do when something goes wrong. I do like the motorcycle analogy though as I personally have never owned a bike larger than 600cc knowing full well that when I borrowed a 165mph motorcycle many years ago I did find out it would actually do 160+. You can get used to 130mph 'road tests' but the extra 30+mph makes a load of difference as you have to be scanning more than a mile ahead
