  1. I'm not worried about where AI is today. I'm worried about where it will be in 5, 10, 20 years. I don't think it will even be a robot uprising or an AI deciding to harm people with some quirk of reasoning. Just having the ability to replace a lot of jobs could be incredibly disruptive and potentially destructive to society. Right now you might be using it as a glorified autocomplete, but will you or your children or grandchildren be able to get jobs in the future? At some point it's just not worth hiring real people. That said, I don't think there's any realistic way to stop it from happening.
