@adambickford8720 yes, when you have deadlines, you're working with time. You can't have deadlines in story points, again, because story points are not time.
Agile is not about "we need to have this big thing done in 6 months", it's about "we will give you something small in e.g. 2 weeks, and you can give us some feedback, and then we will use that feedback when we work on the next part."
To truly be agile, you need to drop the idea of deadlines, but it's hard for "the business" to do that. e.g. You get a new CEO that gives the board a 6 month plan before they are even hired, and then suddenly you have some random deadline that was never based on reality.
