I am a turbo right winger, and I completely agree with objecting to it for environmental reasons. We don’t need it. Also, if we want to reduce carbon emissions and increase protection of the environment, and reduce spending, the very best thing we should have been doing for more than two decades is stopping mass immigration. We’ve nearly doubled the population in my lifetime. That has been a massive burden on ALL public services, disproportionate to any income that the government has been able to gain.

Manama isn’t honourable (we spell it with a ‘u’, by the way, we are not yanks), and she is thick, but I don’t think Swarbrick is a joke. I don’t personally agree with these climate goals, at all, especially since New Zealand is not a slightly significant contributor. She is right, however, that the PM should just have the testicular fortitude to be honest about his policies and just pull out of these ridiculous climate agreements. Since he talks out both sides of his face he is a liar, and she was correct.
