@abidnasar7708 : Have you heard of the concept of Stockholm Syndrome? Sometimes people find themselves in a relationship where one party has so much power over them that they gradually accept their situation and convince themselves that they love it. They might feel 'kidnapped' but are powerless to leave, for both physical and emotional reasons, and this is even more complicated in an honour-based culture where females have less independence. Of course genuine inter-faith relationships also occur in India, where each party retains their own faith. I think this is wonderful but I would prefer it for the children of that relationship to also be free to choose which faith to follow. As for banning a movie, you'd have to have more proof that it actually incites violence before removing it from the public arena, otherwise we'd be banning heaps of things just because they make some people hostile. A hostile person who harms another is accountable for their own actions and is subject to criminal laws. Free speech is vital for social change and innovation.

A man involved in the making of "The Kerala Story" said the quoted number of 42,000 comes from the 'official' total number of people from all over the world joining ISIS (which includes children who were born to ISIS fighters). That's quite different to "32K joined from Kerala", as one of the speakers says here so I think he might be misquoting the film. Human Rights Watch website says: "Of the nearly 42,000 foreign Islamic State (ISIS) suspects and family members from 60 countries currently detained in northeast Syria, MOST are children." What a tragic situation for the children still living in camps in Syria...🙄
