  1. Are people taking this man seriously? He’s skimming over the facts of Islamic texts, citing a few examples that serve only his narrative. He says he’s surprised that UK Muslim organisations have not condemned Hamas. Does he tell you that the most respected Sunni Islam authority in the world, Al-Azhar University, put out a statement saying it was “proud” of the “act of resistance by Hamas” on October 7🤮. Don’t let this man lull you into a sense of complacency. Islam ☪️ is NOT compatible with the West. Muslims who barely follow Islam or their prophet are fine.

  2. Well said. This guest didn't bother to tell us the whole story of his prophet's relationship with Jews. In the beginning Muhammed was 'friendly' when he hoped to convert the Jews. But they rejected his new ideology so he turned against them, and it's been like that ever since Islam began. Ed Husain also ignored the many negative verses in the Quran about Jews, which form the basis for Jew-hatred in the Muslim world. Ed Husain is either delusional or trying to fool the West.

  3.  @adaptiveagile : I agree. He's very intelligent, optimistic, and a 'reformist' Islamic thinker. But no reformist Muslim has succeeded before him, and he's only influencing a very small number of Muslims. We shouldn't let Ed Husain lull us into thinking that there is no problem with a large Muslim population within our Western cultures. So long as the Islamic scriptures and the role-modelling of their prophet contains violence, and the goal of one day subjugating the whole world for their god, we must be on guard.

  4. Huh? Two million Arabs who are mostly Muslim, many who also identify as 'Palestinian', are citizens of Israel today with equal rights under the law. That's one-fifth of Israel's population! The hostile Arabs of Gaza and Judea and Samaria have forfeited any right to a state of their own.

  6. ​ @pantethine66 : Are those Muslims who choose not to take the Quran verses literally still free to REJECT outright some of the obligations for Muslims that are in the Quran? Can those 'adapted' Muslims march against the extremist Muslims who support Hamas? What would happen to them? Your 'moderate' or 'adapted' Muslims are stuck in the middle, and they give cover to the hardliners. It's also dangerous for them to leave Islam if they don't believe in all of the actions of the prophet, including having sex with a child, taking multiple wives, and the warlord activities which included taking booty and sex slaves. It's a horrible mess.

  9. Most people refer to the ceasefire agreement with Gaza when they say this. 18,500 Gaza Palestinians had permits to work in Israel prior to the October 7 attack. The West Bank is a different security problem for Israel.

  10. Muslims have been trying to separate politics and mosque since the beginning of Islam, and those brave Muslims all get killed for committing treason. Islam cannot be 'adapted' or 'modernised'. The core goal of the Islamic ideology is to unite Muslims for invasion and conquest in order to subjugate the whole world.
