It's very nice that you found this video did "a wonderful job". However, there are at least 10% of Muslims in the world who would not agree. They follow fiqh rulings such as that found in the 14th century "Reliance of the Traveller" which says that "jihad is war against non-Muslims to establish the religion of Islam". Also called "just war" or "holy war". And it is an obligation for Muslims. Jihad can also be peaceful of course (jihad of the pen, of the mouth), and we see 'creeping Sharia' everywhere in the West. But violent jihad is also present, with jihadists or mujahideen telling us why they do what they do and quoting Islamic scriptures to back up their actions. Even al-Azhar University put out a statement praising the 'resistance struggle' by the Palestinians on October 7, 2023, where babies and the elderly were unalived and taken hostage. It is dangerous for non-Muslims like me to be lulled into a sense of complacency about this very real threat to our Western civilisation.

Very well said...🙏

Exactly. We don't have primary source evidence for anything in the first 100 years of Islam. It could all have been invented by an Arab leader for the purpose of invasion and conquest.

@batosato : Are you implying that the Islamic domination was achieved by "self-defense" in the first century? And that fighting to redress any small 'grievance' can be said to be "self-defense"? Islam was founded on spreading the so-called 'light' of Islam and then consolidating that conquest permanently. Until Islam collapses. Which we see happening now...🙏

Arabs conquered people and were happy to keep them as #dhimmis because the 'protection tax' helped to to grow wealth for the invaders [10:35 mins]. Egypt is a good example of this, but over centuries most of the indigenous Copts converted to Islam in order to survive economically. The rest is history...🙄

@io6619 : Islam is more than just a personal religion, like Christianity. It’s a complete way of life, a deen, which includes a political-legal dimension. It is in competition with Western governments. Islam does not uphold equality for all, freedom of speech, or freedom on conscience.

@justsendmelocation313 : No. It's because jihadist groups tell us why they do what they do. They quote their prophet and the Islamic doctrine.
