"Palestinians are too divided"...agreed. And the majority of Palestinians also don't want to live in peace next to a Jewish state.

@oiulti6900 : You might call it ridiculous but some people see it as the greatest success of the indigenous rights movement. In 1920 the international League of Nations met at San Remo and recognised the Jewish people as indigenous to historic Palestine. They were granted the right to re-establish their homeland, with non-Jews to be given equal rights. That happened. But Arabs didn't like it. Even though Arabs themselves have 22 countries where, today, it is very difficult for a Jewish person to live securely, and even Christians and other minorities groups are at risk. The Ottoman Caliphate defeat in 1918 saw Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Saudi Arabia given to Arabs for self-determination, so why can't the Jewish people live safely on less than 1% of that remaining Middle East land? Does Japan exist only for the Japanese people? Can Kurdish people also be given their own nation state? It's not so ridiculous to me.

The Jews were exiled from their ancestral homeland for two thousand years, so they come from a wide variety of places, eg. Russia, Ethiopia, Morocco, India, Europe. It's up to Israel's Jewish leaders to define who is a Jew in terms of returning to Israel. That's pure nonsense to say that Christians are never at risk in Muslim countries. I'm currently in Egypt where Christians are being persecuted, where their churches need heavy security, and where no person born into a Muslim family can convert to Christianity in a legal sense. Christians and Jews are always second-class 'dhimmis' in a Muslim-majority country. They can NEVER be certain of their security, and they can't hold positions of power. That was also the situation when the Ottoman Empire occupied Palestine. It's only now that the Holy Land is once again under the leadership of the indigenous Jewish people that there is equality under the law for all citizens, and freedom of worship. When the Jordanian Muslims invaded and conquered Jerusalem in 1948, they destroyed synagogues and exiled Jews from that most Holy Jewish city.

I'm very happy that the British, French and Allied Powers DEFEATED Germany and the Ottoman Empire in 1918 and enabled the Jewish people to return to their ancestral homeland. The Israelis also DEFEATED the Arab nations when they attacked in many subsequent wars. Those who start wars and then LOSE those wars don't get to call the shots. War has consequences. @koontekinte0 : Fair enough, but from the outside perspective I see that Israel is only growing stronger and Arab nations are losing interest in the 'Palestinian cause'. International funding will also begin to run out as there are millions of genuine refugees in the world, particularly in Africa, who deserve help before the 'Palestinians' and their corrupt leadership continue to pocket millions. The 'Palestinians' are being used by Muslims and leftists, and by Iran, as geopolitical weapons against the Jews. The sooner they wake up to that, the better their lives will be. That's the real delusion.
