  2. I agree, and I would be be extremely wary of a Kurdistan nation, which has a Sunni Muslim majority, if I were a Christian or another minority religion. Culturally all Kurds may be similar, but whenever Islam is in power/majority the intolerance begins. It is mandated in the Islamic doctrine, and we have seen it happen throughout history. She mentions Lebanon (19:00) as an example of 'peaceful co-existence'. Lebanon was a Christian majority nation which accepted Sunni Muslim refugees, and when they became powerful it led to a civil war and bad news for Jews and Christians. Now Lebanon is again in a state of tension. My hope is that the political-sharia dimension of Islam will one day collapse.

  3.  @s.s.a8741 ...they are definitely NOT all secularists. They do what they need to do when they have little power. It is a very different matter when they do have power and territory. It is mandated in their Islamic doctrine. I would love Kurdistan to be a state but I would be very wary if it had a Muslim majority.
