  1. As earnest and nice as he is, Imam Tawhidi is simply proposing a form of "unicorn Islam", as Gad Saad says. Meanwhile ex-Muslims like Mufassil are being killed in the streets of Dhaka for being openly critical of Islam. Governments must start to acknowledge that Islam is primarily a political and legal ideology, and that it is not just a benign personal religion. Thank you, Gad, for hosting this very interesting interview, the last 15 minutes being the most worthwhile for me.
